Welcome to the Eclectic Reviewer!
Hi, my name is Beverly. This site is going to be my personal spot to grace anyone who is interested with my opinion on just about anything, but mostly books and movies.
The vast majority of the reviews will be of romance and fantasy novels, with a little bit of everything else thrown in. Its a conglomeration of all of my interests.
I am also a pretty big fan of fantasy art and the pre-raphaelite movement in art, so I will include lots of artwork for your viewing pleasure.
The Lists page will have lists of books by topic and/or theme, will a few movies thrown in. Most of the books on the lists will be ones I have read personally and enjoyed.

Romance, Mystery, Fantasy, Horror, Science Fiction
These five genres are definitely my top choices for books that I read. I am especially always looking for cross-genre books. I occasionally read in the historical genre, and even more infrequently read mainstream fiction. I do read some non-fiction, usually medieval and early European history, religious or occult books, war history, just about anything on mountaineering, and a few other subjects. |
